There are many forms of patient imaging. Here at West Ridge Animal Hospital we start with X- Rays.

This format allows us to review what is going on on the inside of your pet.  We almost always take atleast 2 views, one with a pet on his side, and another on his back. This combination of pictures allows us to easily view organs and bones. Radiology gives our doctors a better understanding of what is happening on the inside of your pet.

Every film we take is reviewed by a board certified veterinary radiologist.

Dr. Burns is a board certified Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Radiology. She graduated from Purdue University. After 3 years in private practice, she completed a residency in veterinary radiology at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Dr. Burns was a faculty member of the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Since 1990 Dr. Burns has provided veterinary radiology and ultrasound services.
